The members of the Portola Art Gallery cordially invite you to enter the 2nd ANNUAL PAINT ALLIED ARTS - Plein Air Paint-out & Exhibit at the Allied Arts Guild in Menlo Park, October 24th from 9 am – 4 pm.

The primary focus of this day is to bring artists and friends together to share in the beauty of the Allied Arts Guild and to help promote the arts in our communities. There will be an Artists Choice Award, a People’s Choice Award, live music and refreshments during the afternoon reception.

25 artists will be selected by a nationally known award winning artist from applications received by August 8th.

Juried Artists will be asked to bring one framed and ready to hang painting, 11×14 or smaller to hang outside on the display panels furnished by the Portola Art Gallery, while they paint the AAG grounds. Artists will have time from sign-in till noon to complete a painting. After framing their new work, the artists will add the freshly painted paintings of AAG to the display panels for consideration for awards. Participating artists will have their name included on all promotional materials including local advertising, Portola Art Gallery and Allied Arts Guild web sites.

20% of the proceeds will benefit the Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital, artists to retain 80%
