
We invite you to submit your artwork for the Centennial juried exhibition California’s Landscapes and Legacy on view at the Bennington Center for the Arts in Vermont from August 1 to September 27, 2009. This is a great opportunity to share the many facets of our landscapes and artistic legacy with an East Coast audience and to present a variety of paintings and sculpture in a museum setting. A catalogue will be published in conjunction with the exhibition.
Subject: High quality paintings and sculpture; open to any subject matter inspired by California’s environment and people; artwork accepted into the exhibition will be for sale and must be professionally framed and ready for installation.
Medium: Artwork may be in oil, watercolor, pastel or acrylic.
Sculpture may be in bronze, marble, wood or stone.
Shipping: Artists are responsible to ship artwork directly to the exhibition venue in air float boxes only. The Bennington Center for the Arts will store artist shipping containers during the length of the exhibition and will pay for return shipping of artwork.
Commissions: 60% artist, 20% Bennington Center for the Arts, 20% California Art Club
